Well, we are not sure if this story is true. There is so much 'spin' going on in Mexico that I don't know what to believe and what to discard. But for a couple years or more, I have been hearing on the Boards that these two hate and envy each other. Borderland Beat made a fascinating article about this (about a year ago?), that these two were running two different factions of the zetas and that they each ran their side differently, that Trevino was more envious of Lazca and that it was inevitable that they would turn on each other one day.
I personally think that this story is pure propaganda by someone else but I believe in the speculations that z3 and z40 don't like each other.
If I find the article about the feud between these two from the archives, I will post it later for you.
I don't know, but back in May when those nine people were hung from that bridge in Nuevo laredo, there was a message commending Lazcano for kicking the ass of an "El Metro 4."

I think this could easily be propaganda BUT there are a couple things that seem weird. The first is that when Chapo addresses the zetas he write specifically to Z40. If he only did it once you could say it was just a one time deal, however this has happened repeatedly. Personally I think if Lazca and Z40 had things the way they always did chapo would address lazca.
I have wrote on previous threads that I would not be surprised if Lazca killed z40 himself. It seems like Lazca understands that blood is typically bad for business, and z40 is in fact far more violent and less stable than Lazca. Usually when that happens one of the two knock off the other. I thought for a long time that Lazca is the strong of the 2 but it seems like z40 would have a lot of people follow him in the split. If there was a split and one of the sides teamed up with the CDG and CDS that would literally create the most powerful cartel the world has ever seen. I think they would wipe out he rest of the zetas pretty quick, and they would succeed in defeating the BL/Jaurez group (especially when Mochomo got out) but that would take a while. It just doesn't seem like z40 and z3 really like each other.

Those two vids are both ancient.. Thats not what they are basing this assumption on are they? Pretty sure you would see blood and banners across mexico if they were going at it.. 303 does make a good point about chapo never adressing (not that chapo writes or even has anything to do with CDS banners) lazcano, always talkin shit @ z40 the car washing nut hugger as he has been called a few times..

its simple to use google to translate and then scroll thru to fix up context n shit but i only ever do small paragraphs at the most..never this much text & dw bout the whiners magician but i still say the story is not based on much more than rumours.... We can dream tho right? zetas go at eachothers throat eh. Would be surprised if lazca is anywhere near mexico anymore. Too hot and hes toomuch of a pretty boy to live in that kinda heat

I've always wondered if the CDS/CDG banners belittle Z-40 in an attempt to goad him into a fight with Lazcano. I remember one where it mentioned Lazcano lecturing Z-40 about problems. I would imagine Lazcano has a temper, but has better control due to his military training and if Mexican boot camp is anything like US boot camp then he already heard it all from his drill instructors.....

i may have missed it in the mess of text but does anyone know who number two in the zetas is? they often say lazcano is 1 and trevino is 3... whos in between?
