"El Oaxaco" of the Old School Zetas Arrested

Itzli
Juan Pablo Pérez García, alias "El Oaxaco" and code name "Bravo 01", of the Old School Zetas was reportedly arrested somewhere in Nuevo León, near the border of Tamaulipas, late Friday, January 20th by special forces of the Marina which utilized ground forces and helicopters in the search for his location.  Apparently authorities had been increasingly closing in on him in recent weeks, as it was reported that state and municipal police officers in Nuevo León had been arresting a number of members of the Old School Zetas, particularly in the Monterrey municipal area.  "El Oaxaco" was taken to the airport of Reynosa, Tamaulipas overnight and flown to a military base in Mexico City around 9:00 AM on Saturday.

"El Oaxaco" is said to be a former soldier of the battalion of Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas and a former state police officer of Tamaulipas.  With the emergence last year of the Old School Zetas (Zetas Vieja Escuela), he rose to infamy as the leader of "Los Bravos", apparently the enforcement wing of the Old School Zetas (though Menytimes claims that Javier Morales Valencia, alias "El Shaggy", was the original "Bravo 01" and "El Oaxaco" assumed the code name following the former's death on October 10, 2016), and was often the "signer" of various banners and messages from the Old School Zetas.

Following the August 2016 arrest of Luis Reyes Enríquez, alias "El Rex" and code name "Z-12", as well as the October death of "El Shaggy", divisions emerged within the Old School Zetas; "El Oaxaco" would go on to claim loyalty to "Z-12" and allege that he had been handed over to authorities by members of the Old School Zetas.  As his enemies joined in an alliance with the Matamoros faction of the Gulf Cartel to create the C.D.Z., "El Oaxaco" and his allies were hunted down by both this group and the CDN and I would expect for "Los Bravos" to soon become extinct.

Thats the famous 'bravo 1'.. they shouldve let him finish the real demonic Zetas of 40s faction since they are the first ones that broke the cardinal rule killing woman and children(babies to be exact), they should make them suffer the most horrible death, it's unexplainable how a child felt the pain these demonic idiots caused. What kind of message are you sending by killing a child? What did the child do apart from being related to the trafficker that's being targeted. Have no words to express myself. Anyways, good work btw.

Was "El Oaxaco" Negotiating with "El Toro" of Los Metros?
When the news that "El Oaxaco" was arrested first spread, Menytimes posted about it on his blog but questioned its authenticity due to a perceived hole in the story: why would "El Oaxaco" be transported to Reynosa, Tamaulipas, if he was arrested in the state of Nuevo Leon.  New information, allegedly coming from the "Grupo de Coordinación Tamaulipas", claims that he was, in fact, arrested in Reynosa, where he was being protected by Juan Manuel Loza Salinas, alias "El Toro", the current leader of Los Metros faction of the Gulf Cartel.

"El Oaxaco" is said to have two active warrants for his arrest: one from 2015, in Nuevo Laredo, and the other from last year, in Ciudad Victoria, for the crimes of kidnapping, homicide, and organized crime.  At the time of his arrest, he is reported to have been carrying an AR-15 and a bag containing a SL15 SAR.  Additionally, he had in his possession 13 ammunition clips, 340 rounds of ammunition, and a 5 kilogram packet of marijuana.

Current Status of Los Bravos

There are some new messages floating around online, signed by "El Señor de la O" of the C.D.Z., that gives an idea to what the current hierarchy of Los Bravos is.  Here is one of the messages:

It should be noted that in this message, the spelling of "La Barbie" is wrong, his paternal last name is Stolberg.  He is said to be the current head of plaza in Ciudad Victoria for Los Bravos faction of the Old School Zetas.  What is extremely interesting is that Egidio Torre Jr., son of the Tamaulipas governor Egidio Torre Cantu, is engaged to Barbara Stolberg, an alleged family member (I'm assuming sister) of "La Barbie".
