So I've notice that no one seems to report the deaths of gunmen that occur each and everyday at the hands of the military. And like always the cartels end up getting their asses handed to them. I wonder why no one ever mentions this or writes about this or are they in it for la nota roja or yellow journalism?? But anyways...
The Ministry of National Defense (SEDENA) reported a balance of six attackers dead, they secured four rifles, 92 magazines, two thousand 550 cartridges and a vehicle after a confrontation between military personnel and a group armed people in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas.
The Department of Defense through the Commander of the Fourth Military Region, said military personnel conducted patrols on Boulevard Canseco. He said that in defense of their physical integrity repelled the attack and killed six gunmen.
Five criminals killed and one person was rescued after being allegedly kidnapped, was the result of a confrontation between the military and gunmen in the city of Tampico.
The Secretariat National Defense through the Commander of the Fourth Military Region, confirmed that the confrontation occured on Friday, in the colony Sierra Morena of the port city.
They seized four rifles, 12 magazines for different weapons, 293 cartridges of different calibers, three grenades of various types, a vehicle and three radios.
Likewise, it freed a male person who was allegedly kidnapped.

The operations that the Mexican Army against organized crime in Nuevo León, Tamaulipas and San Luis Potosi have had the following results of 338 dead criminals and the loss of five soldiers, from 1st January 2010 till this date, reported (SEDENA).
By giving a balance of activities undertaken within the framework of Operation Northeast, said the military institution in the last four months has arrested 1,234 suspected criminals arrested, of which 25 belonged to different police forces and have rescued a total of 104 people who were being held as hostages.
They also ensured more than 51 tons of marijuana, 238 kilos of cocaine, as well as 38 kilos of heroin, 1,580 pastillas psicotrópicas y 1,991 dosis de la droga known as crystal.
They also seized 2076 rifles, 517 handguns; 451 grenades, two rocket launchers, 15 thousand magazines, and 453,000 bullets...
With respect to the money, SEDENA said there was a total of 495 thousand dollars and 4 million pesos.
The soldiers also located one thousand military-style uniforms and 162 police-type uniforms. The military also seized 2,015 vehicles, 33 trailers, two boats, one air strip, and etc.
Likewise, they secured 13 properties, which were used by organized crime as safe houses, warehouses and other illegal activities.
And like always the cartels end up getting their asses handed to them by the military like always!! Just another day in Mexico.
So in other news....A shootout in Michoacán resulted in 3 LFM members arrested and one cop injured.
A federal policeman was hurt after a clash with alleged gunmen in Michoacán, that moments before had stolen a light truck and three of them were detained, informed the Secretariat of Public federal Security.
In a separate action the Army and gunmen were involved in a shootout in Zihuatanejo; there are four gunmen dead
A violent clash between the military and an armed commando in the surrounding areas of Old Neighborhood Beach Adjoins, in this coastal locality left a balance of four dead gunmen, weapon and vehicles were secured.
So like always gunmen getting their ass kicked like usually....just another day in Mexico.
