The gulf cartel is confusing. Does any one happen to know how call signs are assigned. I took chars advice and listened to a couple of gulf cartel corridos. From what I got from them were Flaco Sierra call sign is M-31 and Bulodo is Cero.
There is a Flaco Sierra with the clave 31, who has been killing federal troops as of lately. In the same post I read, M21 is called Navor and there is even a M1 called Mimi, which is definitely not the original Metro Uno.
La Mimi or m-1 and la mierda m-22 are cousins of Chiricuas m-85.
Boludo started working for Panochitas m-103
Guero Jessi m-61 was killed by Pelochas and Betito in a meeting.
The call signs were first assigned by Comandante m-3..
Choco m-90, Pakito m-77, Erick el mono m-76, chiricuas
m-85.. some stayed with there codes like el Simple was
h-24 and Tachas h-17, turned into m-24 and m-17.
Unless you’re a big boss like Comandante m-3, mellado, Pakito, Lino, Gringo they where able to assign codes. Now any guy is able to assign there codes which is laughable but again it’s the gulf cartel they’ve lost so many leaders.
Chiricuas assign the code m-1 to la Mimi.. it’s dumb because that was used by Homero Cardenas but again nowadays commanders are able to assign there codes.
Panochitas got his code from mellado and m3. 10 is for mellado’s code and 3 is for the code Señor Samuel used m3.
Mellado was not m-10 but was just “El 10” or Jefe 10
Regarding Homero Cardenas he was M-1, but not Metro 1. His group was called Grupo M or Grupo Marina. It makes it pretty confusing. The orginal Metro Uno was Lorenzo Cuellar Botello, arrested back in 2007.
The problem we always thought with the Metros fraction seems to be that there isnt a Supreme Leader of the group. The last one being X-20. Even with him at the helms they're was still constant betrayals, but if you look at the map of Reynosa (most profitable plaza due to the 3 bridge that enter the United States) you'll notice that there is over 30 neighborhoods. A Comandate controlling 3 or 4 neighborhoods let's say. So that's 10 or 15 commandates in the city plus the jefe of the plaza. While others plaza's like Camargo, Miguel Altman, Rio Bravo, and Nuevo Progresso having one jefe of the plaza and his estakas. So I'm guessing the real problem with Los Metros is that they simply don't have enough territory to spread out they're commandates therefore constantly leading to confrontation between them. To many polloitos on the farm.
That’s a really good way to put it too many commanders leads to envy and betrayals. After m3 died, m4 took over and everyone respected his leadership except El Gringo who really wanted the throne. Mario Pelón x-20 was more than anything a regional boss who oversaw Reynosa and MATAMOROS making sure everything ran smoothly. Pakito after el Gringo was killed became the plaza boss of Reynosa and el Orejon or C-7 was the Matamoros boss. X-20 gets captured and slowly tensions start to rise between Reynosa and Matamoros.
Captures and deaths occur and Gafe m-64 takes over Toro, 98, Panilo, and Cleofas become more important and everything goes down hill.
