Sedena secures 2 million US dollars in bus in Tamaulipas


Elements of the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) secured approximately $ 2 million in a bus line, when conducting an inspection at a point of review in Tamaulipas.

Military sources reported unofficially that the seizure was made yesterday at the checkpoint known as La Coma, located at kilometer 134 +300 of the Ciudad Victoria to Matamoros highway.

The military when checking a bus detected a double bottom on the roof and in the driver's cabin area.

According to reports, the bus had left Reynosa, Tamaulipas, and was destined for the city of Poza Rica, Veracruz.

2 drivers are arrested

The vehicle and the money were transferred to the delegation of the Attorney General's Office (PGR) based in Reynosa, where the counting of the dollars continued.

The authorities have an initial estimate of the assurance, of approximately 2 million dollars.

The two operators of the bus were also transferred to the PGR and later will be informed about their legal situation.
