Report: 3 headless bodies left in Mexican street with decapitated heads in sombreros

Maddy

Disturbing photos surfaced this week showing three heads wearing sombreros sitting next to their decapitated bodies in a Mexican street, according to an El Blog del Narco report.

The three headless bodies were rolled into a street in Xalapa, Veracruz, and wrapped tightly in tape on Sept. 13, according to the Mexican publication. Heads adorned with sombreros sat with the bodies. Two of the bodies were male and one was female, according to a Plumas Libres report. Brooms were left on top of the bodies as well.

Plumas Libres reported the identity of the bodies as: Juan Salvador Patino Leon, Jorge Luis Patino Leon and Denisse Yazaret Morales Juarez.

Decapitation photos and videos have surfaced out of Mexico previously.

Footage from January shows a man slicing the head off a victim of cartel violence.

In the shocking video, the victim appears to already be deceased with his hands tied, laying lifeless on the ground next to a large pit.

A man takes an ax to the victim's neck and hacks away, pausing to readjust the head and neck.

When he is finished, the man pauses to hold up the head and smile at the camera before tossing it into the hole in the ground.

Blog del Narco says the people behind the video and dismemberment are members of the Gulf Cartel.
