“Pulpo Rojo” arrested in Tamaulipas

MEXICO CITY (AP) - The Tamaulipas Coordination Group (TAG) confirmed that Juan Guillermo "N", "El Pulpo Rojo", was arrested early this morning and said he was an accountant for one of the main leaders of organized crime. as well as Norberto "N", "El Charmín", both considered relevant objectives for justice in the entity.

Elements of the federal forces located them in the colony Rio Bravo 2 in a pick-up truck, whose driver accelerated when observing the security agents.

After being stopped, the unit was reviewed and found 13 rectangular packages with green and dry grass, apparently marijuana, weighing about 100 kilograms, in addition to four cell phones.

Also during the apprehension were seized two short guns, caliber 38.

Both the captured, the weapons, the vehicle and the drugs were put at the disposal of the Federal Public Ministry for the investigations and corresponding judicial process.

It was written very vague that he was "an accountant for one of the main leaders of organized crime" without being any more specific...and ironic I'd come across this right after reading the octo-jacking story.
