Como esta el tramo de Nuevo Laredo hasta Monterrey por la cuota? Esta muy peligrosa para llevar placas gringas? Alguien me consejar? De 2005 a 2010 cruzaba la frontera sin miedo pero ahora le pienso.... Tengo ganas de ir a ver a familiares en Mty pero, no he ido desdel fin de 2009. Diganme porfavor.

De lo que leo yo en este blog alli es onde esta el desmadre de Los Zeta vs CDG, si llevas troca nueva or carro te la pueden quitar, y asta te puede ir pior.

Es mejor viajar en avion y evitar la carretera. Mi familia seguido viaja por ahi y dicen que esta muy bien vijilada pero yo no lo recomiendo.

I had a brief conversation with a blogger from Monterrey yesterday and he told me he felt that the violence in Monterrey was decreasing.

As long as there are people with money there, I think it will always be a target for the cartels in terms of extortion and kidnapping.

Strange how it's fallen so far from very secure to dangerous over the past 5 years. I guess that also ties in with the growth of Los Zetas and their disgusting acts, and obviously, the drug war.

I wish I could read about the mayoral candidates in English somewhere to see what they have to say. I saw interviews with the mayor's of San Pedro and Garcia and found them to be tough on crime.

i think you should go just go with someone who knows the area a lot of people exaggerate  and a person who knows  the bad guys thats how we get around in Tijuana my uncle knows the sicarios from the plaza where we go and all the bad guys so we have no problems just worried of getting our cars stolen that's all but hey have fun dude
