Other links in the Flores Crime Organization, even Valentin Elizalde

On August 9th the US Treasury published two bulletins, where they linked drug trafficker Raúl Flores Hernández with different companies mainly from Jalisco, as well as their owners.

Among the list of entrepreneurs connected to "El Tío", two names were highlighted: the Mexican footballer Rafael Márquez and the band singer Julión Álvarez, who got the attention of the media and public opinion.

However, on the same map published by the US authorities Mario Alberto Fernandez Santana appears, who practically went unnoticed.

The man known as "El Gordo Fernández" is the financial operator of Flores Hernández.

But he is also father of Nathaly Fernandez, current wife of Julión Álvarez. The singer met the daughter of "El Gordo Fernández" at a party in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

After exchanging numbers and agreeing on subsequent meetings, Nathaly and Julión married on April 16, 2011 in Guadalajara. It was all very discreet. The nearest family came. He did not invite the media.

Just five years before the wedding between Alvarez and Fernandez, Nathaly was in a pantheon of Guasave, Sinaloa, mourning the loss of a loved one: Valentín Elizalde.

"El Gallo de Oro" was killed by a commando when he left a presentation at the Palenque at the Expo-Fair in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, on the morning of November 25, 2006.

After the funeral, Nathaly appeared as the betrothed of Valentin. Even the mother and Elizalde's brothers referred to her as "the widow."

The Sinaloa Cartel and the CJNG, linked to the two singers

Two years after his death, the Attorney General's Office (PGR) attributed the death of "El Gallo de Oro" to Raúl Hernández Barrón, alias "El Flander I", an ex-military of the Mexican Army that was part of what was then the armed wing of the Gulf Cartel, Los Zetas, at the service of drug trafficker Osiel Cárdenas Guillén.

Judicial investigations pointed to an Elizalde song called "To My Enemies," which was considered as a message from Sinaloa Cartel leader Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, to his rivals the Zetas.

The Sinaloan criminal organization has been directly linked to the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG), headed by Nemesio Oceguera Cervantes, alias "El Mencho".

This criminal would have done business with Jesús Pérez Alvear, known as "Chucho Pérez", to create a network of money laundering through palenques, fairs and concerts.

Pérez Alvear, also a partner in the fair and casino organizer Gallística Diamante, has represented singers Julión Álvarez and Gerardo Ortiz.

According to federal authorities, "Chucho Pérez" has as a girlfriend, Berenice González Valencia, sister of Abigael González Valencia, "El Cuini", one of the leaders of the CJNG.

"El Cuini" operated from Spain until he was arrested in Puerto Vallarta in March 2015. He is currently in the process of extradition.

In addition, another sister of "El Cuini", Rosalinda González Valencia, is the wife of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, "El Mencho", leader of the CJNG, currently at large.

Gallística Diamante organizes the Palenque and operates the San Marcos casino in Aguascalientes and the San Isidro Fair in Metepec.

In the latter, in April and May, singers and musical groups such as Banda MS, Los Tigres del Norte, Los Ángeles Azules, Bronco, Gerardo Ortiz, Emmanuel y Mijares, Julión Álvarez, Carlos Rivera, Gloria Trevi and Alejandro Fernández performed.

During the press conference that Julión Álvarez gave last Thursday August 10, he indicated that he did not sing narcocorridos.

However, among several songs by Álvarez, "El 24" is dedicated to Jesus Reynaldo Sies, dubbed "El Tecate" or "El 24", identified as the leader of the Zetas in the Nuevo Leon plaza.

Sies was killed in October 2012 by ministerial police Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

In addition, the singer Gerardo Ortiz, also linked with "Chucho Pérez", dedicated the song titled "The M" to the capo of the CJNG, "The Mencho".

The same singer has another song called Dámaso, dedicated to Dámaso López Serrano, alias "El Mini Lic", son of Dámaso López Nuñez, "El Licendiado", compadre of "El Chapo" and one of the leaders of the Sinaloa Cartel. "The Mini Lic", "The Licenciado" and "El Chapo" are detained.
