(Por Raúl Tortolero – ReporteIndigo) ------------------------------------------------------------ A Zeta group has defected and now forms a new one along with a faction of the Gulf Cartel which as of yet has only shown its presence in San Luis Potosí as well as zones of the Huasteca and Zacatecas regions. Regroupings amongst various Zeta factions have increased after the supposed death of Heriberto Lazcano Lazcano, aka "Lazca", or "El Verdugo/The Executioner". According to a recent military intelligence report not only were there differences and clashes between factions headed by Lazcano and Miguel Angel Treviño Morales, aka Z-40, but that one of its principal operators at the regional level, Iván Velázquez Caballero, aka Z-50, or "El Taliban", who was a plaza leader in San Luis Potosí, Guanajuato, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes, Monterrey and Coahuila, --- had distanced himself from the aforementioned leaders and returned to form an alliance with the Gulf Cartel. On their behalf the Gulf Cartel too underwent stife and division between factions loyal to Jorge Eduardo Costilla Sánchez, aka "El Coss", and those of Cardenas Guillén. Intelligence data reports signal that "El Coss" –detained September 12, by the Navy - had handed over Mario Cardenas Guillén, aka “El M-1" or "El Gordo", and Juan Gabriel Mount Zermeño, aka "El Sierra". Los Rojos, the Gulf faction once commanded by Osiel's brothers would now be re-forming under a new leadership headed by "El Taliban ", known as "Los Hijos del Diablo", as of now having a presence only in San Luis Potosí, and other zones of Huasteca and Zacatecas. According to sources, Z-50, himself 42-years-old, confessed after being arrested at the end of September by the Navy, that he had begun his criminal career in the ranks of the Gulf Cartel and had never really quit being part of that organization. He blames the Zetas, of which he now denies being part of, for the deaths in previous months in San Luis Potosí. Just the same he rejects he was ever part of the Templarios Unidos and admits that he has always been with the Gulf Cartel. "I began with them ever since I started to work", he assures. |

Confusing article, So a guy whos alias is Z50 claims to not be a part of the zetas?? or whats even more confusing is the claim that he never left CDG??
Patriotism is a propaganda tool used to make people blind to the lies of their government through unquestioning devotion.

That is a shitting excuse to use for San Luis was in his control the whole time even before 40 try to muscle in and I've talk to people that say that even during his time period in the plaza he was the one doing the killings.

I've been hearing rumors of this group forming since bf Lazca was killed. He was just the catalyst to this group coming to light which wasn't supposed to come out until 2014.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's from the movie "Blade Runner", at least the same actor is in it, he plays the beat cop that hassles Harrison Ford.
