Navy Captures the Cat, one of the most sought after by PGR
MEXICO CITY , Mexico , April . 15, 2011.-Elements of the Navy detained in Nayarit Bruno Arreola Garcia, nicknamed "the Cat", one of the most wanted by the Attorney General's Office (PGR), allegedly linked to the Tijuana and Sinaloa cartels.
The Department of the Navy Armada de Mexico (Semar) reported that thanks to naval intelligence work and exchange of information with the U.S. Embassy, has successfully stopped the suspect this morning in the streets of Tepic.
Arreola Garcia has, since August 2003, had a provisional warrant for extradition to the U.S. for drug crimes, organized crime, arms trafficking and money laundering on behalf of the said criminal organizations.
It should be noted that this subject was in the list of most wanted criminals of the PGR.
When he went unnoticed he was under the name of Juan Carlos Arreola and served as representative of a band.
After being captured, "the Cat" was transferred to the capital of the country where he was presented to the Office of Special Investigations on Organized Crime (SIEDO).
