Sources from the Security Office reported that Dámaso López Serrano, alias "El Mini Lic", crossed the border to arrive in the United States and surrendered yesterday to personnel of the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA by its acronym in English).
The authorities consulted explained that he was detained at one of the border crossings of the state of Baja California.
Last May, the federal government detained his father, Dámaso López Núñez, known as "El Licenciado", in Mexico City, and transferred him to the federal prison in Puente Grande, Jalisco.
Dámaso López Serrano, is godchild of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán and son of Dámaso López Núñez, better known as "El Licenciado", who allegedly prepared the escape of the leader of the Pacific Cartel of the Federal Center for Social Readaptation Puente Grande in 2001.
Reports detail that López Serrano became involved in the world of drug trafficking leading a network of young people in the Pacific Cartel, who in social networks call themselves Grupo Anthrax or Los Antrax.
In social network accounts run on behalf of Dámaso López Serrano, different images appear in which the presumed "Mini Lic" lives a life full of luxuries and excesses.
On the Twitter social network he publishes photos of weapons, drugs and telecommunication devices, as well as different videos of shootings, beautiful women and exotic animals.
Following the arrest of Dámaso López Nuñez, alias "El Licenciado", it was assumed that his son, "El Mini Lic", would take over the reins of the Cartel del Pacifico.
