MEXICO CITY—“Kill him! Kill him! Kill him,” chanted a mob of roughly 100 angry Mexicans in Cancun, the popular tourist destination on the coast of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
“I’m going to decapitate you,” one man shouted at Aleksei Viktorovich Makeev, as the bloodied 42-year-old Russian resident of Mexico fled the interior of his home for a nearby rooftop while the mob pelted him with large rocks and jeered.
When Makeev finally collapsed on the rooftop, covered in his own blood—and that of an unarmed teenager whom he stabbed moments before, after the teen attempted to enter the Russian’s apartment—the townspeople finally let him be, as reporters livestreaming from the scene claimed that Makeev had died.
This story made mainstream news. Those videos were something else. They explain a lot. This guy appears to be mentally unhinged and out of his element in a foreign country.Especially when he goes out of his way to step on those people's pizza on the beach he's deliberately going out of his way to piss people off.I guess he has been arrested.Would they deport him back to Russia or would he serve his murder term 1st?
Supposedly he is in a medically induced coma. The murder could be defended as self defense. You can't enter someone's house. In any event, they suspect he may be paralyzed on his left side. I doubt he'll make it out of the hospital IMHO.
Russian citizen Alexey Makeev attacked by the Mexicans in the city of Cancun is in drug-induced coma and paralyzed, Russian Consul in Mexico City Dmitry Bolbot told Sputnik.
MEXICO CITY (Sputnik) — Media reported on Saturday, that Makeev was injured by the residents on Cancun who had attacked him over his insults and attacks aimed at the Mexicans as well as extremist videos published online.
"He is in drug-induced coma, his received a major brain injury, he is paralyzed," Bolbot said late on Saturday.
According to the consul, Russia's embassy was assured by the management of the hospital where Makeev is located that the injured would receive the necessary treatment. Apart from this, the consulate managed to agree with the federal police chief of Mexicas' Quintana Roo state that the increased security would be provided to Makeev.
Bolbot told Sputnik on Saturday, that Makeev received the residence permit in Mexico as a refugee however he still held Russian citizenship. According to the consul, apart from the Mexicans, Makeev targeted Russian nationals.
I see why he's a refugee from his own country.I'm sure they wanted to kill him there too.Definitely needs chill pills. You just don't go into someone else's country especially 1 that has been so gracious as to offer you refugee status and attack the locals and even his own kind. Most Mexicans in Mexico are pretty laid back and easygoing and did the right thing in that bank and ignored him except for that woman.I'm surprised he didn't hit her or attack her on the spot with his out of control behaviour but I think he was 2 bricks short of a load if you know what I mean.
This cretin got off easy. He deserves to experience a lot more pain and suffering before dying slowly and dumped into a raw sewage pit where he belongs. I'm surprised that he was able to live as long as he has without being pummeled into hamburger sooner.
He's a refugee because he's also a member of the LGBT community and fan of Madonna(gay people are criminals in russia). So, he's some schizophrenic gay man who was in an asylum in russia, his parents took him out and sent him to mexico to get rid of him. too bad he didn't took his meds maybe he could have kept his job as a scuba diver instructor . Is obvious he thought what he was doing was some sort of weird social experiment to prank people. russians have a "rude" sense of humor.
DCM90: Yes! This guy seems to have the classic symptoms of "paranoid schizophrenia." This is a common mental illness worldwide. Our jails, prisons, and mental hospitals have thousands in treatment/custody.
IMO, the guy needed appropriate psychiatric treatment in a secure mental health setting. [P.S. As many know, meth and cocaine addicts can give off "paranoid" symptoms too (drug induced paranoia)].
Mexico.- The Attorney General of Quintana Roo reported the transfer of Aleksei Makeev to the Cancún prison on charges of homicide after being released from a hospital where he recovered from blows caused during a lynching attempt.
Makeev left the Cancún General Hospital and was transferred first to the Vice-Chancellor's office and then to the Social Readaptation Center for the murder of a young man who entered his home and was stabbed by the Ukrainian nationalized Russian.
The subject of foreign nationality left in a wheelchair escorted by elements of the Ministerial Police to the Attorney General of the State that carries the investigation folder for the homicide of Carlos Eduardo Gutiérrez Gutiérrez.
Fermín Cortés, director of Cereso de Cancún, said he would not allow lynching attempts, even if he had to remove them on his own, based on his behavior, he was placed in an area of the prison.
Makeev will spend 10 to 15 days in the new incoming area , while assessing his behavior and health status, because at the moment he can not "stand on his own."
Cortes indicated that he is waiting for some request from the Consulate of Russia, country of which he has a nationality.

Russian citizen Aleksei Makeev, #LordNaziRuso, was re-admitted to the General Hospital "Jesús Kumate Rodríguez", because the prison in Cancun does not meet the conditions for medical care, said Ignacio Bermúdez Melendez, director of the hospital.
"We were asked to give nursing care, in the prison they do not have the conditions for their care," said the doctor.
Bermúdez Meléndez ruled out that the Russian citizen, who broadcast discriminatory and fascist videos against citizens of the country, is injured or has suffered some aggression during his brief stay in prison. Makkev, he said, "is asleep, quiet, without any problem".
He commented that the transfer from the jail to the General Hospital took place around midnight and that according to a first assessment they did, he is well.
The day before, agents of the Ministerial Police belonging to the apprehension group completed a court order against Aleksei Makeev for the crime of qualified homicide.
In a statement, the state Attorney General's Office reported that on Monday at 14:00 hours, Makeev's transfer from the prison to the Deputy Attorney General's office began to appear on the May 19 incident, when he was the victim of an attempted lynching, in which a young man of 20 years died. For this incident administrative folder 131/2017 was opened.
Makeev spent only a few hours in the penalty area. He entered at 4:50 p.m. on Monday and his departure and re-entry to the General Hospital was around midnight.
The director of the General Hospital "Jesus Kumate Rodríguez" pointed out that the authorities made the request for Makeev to receive medical attention.
A twitter post "suggests" that he was moved to the hospital for his own security........
