Just tossing something out. What do regular posters think about this?

Should the Mexican people start to rattle their swords about this Fast & Furious thing? Do any of your National candidates have anything to say about this subversion /attack  on Your Soveringn nation? Any comments, concerns will be welcome.
Let me offer this. Will the man be pardoned if he is convicted of wrong doing prior to the US Federal Elections? Or will this play out through the election?
Will  or Have any of the Mexican Federal candidates use the Fast & Furious investigation their campaign promises to bring the wrong doers to justice.

My question wasn't about guns. It was about people in power that can harm others. Chivo can you agree that if there is an illeagal act observed that good people should bring their attention to it and investigate it?
Should all parties involved look into it?

Please give me a reply in your own thoughts and words after you have thought about this reply. Your own thoughts and words, not some talking points.

Really, Think it over look at the facts and give me your honest reply.

I am pleased to see your thoughts when the discussion has evolved to the point that facts are used.

Do you agree that the ATTY Gen. Holder is holding back the truth in F&F.

If  the operation was an assault on the laws of both countries would you like to see justice?

Should the people that are running for political office in Mexico bring this issue up in their campaigns?

There are many ways to answer the questions posted. Chivo please dig deep and and find the Facts to give your honest answer to the questions posed.

as for the question...actually it is heating up again in the US...most of my friends in Mx think it is BS, as narcos can and do get weapons from the wide open south border as well as the US.  Those people killed by F&F weapons wold have been killed by another weapon had not F&F existed.  I do think Holder needs to go, if he would have been honest and said, hey, we made a mistake we tried and failed, then americans would have been better with it.  

here is the thing.  bush had his own F&F it was "Gun Walker"  they shipped guns through El Paso to Juarez where in Juarez had Mx feds waiting to then follow the cache, but Mx authorities lost the surveillance target while the 300 guns were still in Juarez.  The Bush administration halted the program determining it was too dangerous and pointless because they could not rely on Mx to do their part.  Calderon knew about the program.  there are wiki cables on all of this.  I wrote a post somewhere I will try and dig it up.  

In came Obamas Fast and Furious knock off executed without many changes of the failed Gun Walker program.  and 2500 guns were in the hands of cartels..

I agree with you about President Calderone he had a tough choice to make.
From what I have seen (and I am no expert on MX politics by any means) He had a choice. Do something for your people to help them or jst keep kicking the can down the road. He chose action instead of diplomacy, It is in my opinion he took the side of the Mexican people and their true culture to fight the blight that he saw that was coming to his people. Your President threw down the gauntlet against the growing threat of the cartels and scum of the MX society to save Mexico. I mean to say he at least did something to right the wrong that is happening in your land.

Mexico has had a lot of death in this war against evil and your President has done well as far as I can see considering the task at hand. I hope history sees him well in the end. There was an American President that had to deal with many deaths on his country's soil, and his war prevailed and pushed evil aside.

Both of our countries are in the process of choosing leadership please pray that we make good choices on both sides of the border.
