No new info here, just some questions.  I can't find much info on JL, I know he's been with the Juarez Cartel for a long time.  Does he go back all the way to Amado Carrillo Fuentes?

I've also read speculation that he's dead, but this seems disputed.  How likely?

Would like to know more about JL, I've read that window tint story a few times on here. Makes me cringe just thinking about it, scraping windows with fingernails.


Anyone know the window tint story?  The same article states that much of the CDS/CDJ war started because of the taxes JL raised on Sinola.  This would make him a pretty big player.

That's not him in the pic, he was just in charge of the plaza. his head got big, & taxed the wrong people. Story was that he did not respect old pacs made between the capos in the 90s. El viceroy gave him permission to run things how he saw it fit. Too many of his people flip sides or are locked up, does not have the juice he once had when he was dating the female state prosecutor. la ---- is done

Thanks Havana, if you recall this video really stirred the waters when it was released, it was rumored that is was honest cops but it was just CDS propaganda. Right before they started killing those Juarez police officers connected to JL

And it only added more to the "JL mystique". I'm not sure that is the right word. And the next time a JL post appears and if someone is smart enough to add it again, I'll probably watch it then too.
