Culiacan, Sinaloa. - The state governor Mario López Valdez, said he does not know Joaquin "El Chapo Guzman," and has not received any phone calls linking him to the death of Javier Araujo Avilez alias "The Arab" , as indicated by a narcomensaje which was thrown from a plane this morning in Culiacan and Guamuchil.

Lopez Valdez said "do not know the Chapo, I have never spoken to nor have I talked to the delegate of the PGR as that message states."

The governor said that criminals seek to discredit the government with this type of action because they feel threatened.

Perhaps they should have been more specific, Have you ever met with any emissaries from the sinaloa cartel aka the company aka the federation etc etc, Have you ever received payment for 'political favours' from cartel proxies..
