Enrique Peña Nieto takes office tomorrow... Any predictions???
I'll start it off. I think we will see a big arrest within the first two months of his term. By big I mean Chapo, Mayo, 40. After that they will divide the plazas and hopefully things go back to normal.
777(Lucky). I don't think you will see the arrest of any of those 3. They know too much and could talk too much. They would more likely be killed in a splashy shoot out with Pena Nieto's new police force.
Words are powerful weapons, be careful how you use them.
The PRI is rotten through and through. Old corruption will creep back. The old establishment may dig in deeper than in the past. No more transformational government because the people in majority don't have will to support it.
Here's the danger. Organized crimes penetration of government entities was exposed under Calderon. A record number of journalists were killed or coerced to manipulate the press and the population by extension. People just haven't woke up and smelled the bullshit and they want to go back into a deep sleep of the old corrupt order.

@EL Regio. Sicillia is still around.
Open letter to Enrique Peña Nieto
Dear Enrique Peña Nieto:
Monday, December 3, 2012
When this card is already published, you will have taken possession of the presidency. Assuming responsibility is immense to the national emergency in the country and the failure and blindness of the political parties to set, along with the public, an agenda of national unity that could cope. You receive and assume, therefore, a country devastated by the pain, death and misery, a country where its citizens are in a state of utter helplessness, their social fabric torn, at the mercy of the crime and the ineffectiveness and corruption of governments, a country to which the outgoing president, Felipe Calderon, persisted, with the solidarity of the political class and criminality, in tearing and despise, a fractured country, frightened and full, in fear, anger, a country where, because of the cancer-patrimonialism since colonial politician in life is enquistó-state, the moral and political backbone of much of its citizens is demolished, a country burdened with more than 70 people dead, more than 20,000 missing, more than 250,000 displaced and tens of thousands of orphans, widows and broken families, whose numbers increase, and without an ounce of justice, a country, Mr. President, in which his party, like all the others, and yourself, have, in relation to that horror, serious debts with justice-remember the words, worn out with grief and indignation, gave her Dona Trinidad in relation to repression in Atenco (2006) Over the Dialogues for Peace we held on May 28, 2012 at Alcázar Chapultepec Castle with the then candidate for President of the Republic, "You have repeatedly said that you are responsible for operating. then you are responsible for the killings, human rights violations and a gang of rapists continue to act in the State of Mexico, "a country, in short, that a part of himself, distrustful of their leaders and believe that you came to the Presidency of the Republic, like its predecessor, so illegitimate.
Whatever it is, like it or not, you-because much of the nation decided to go with all that horror and corruption and blindness of the institutions and partidocracias, to the polls to vote for someone, is president Mexico and has before him an immense task and a dilemma redo all the country or manage the disaster, as did his predecessor, and take the country to the bottom of hell.
I, despite my pain and the repeated betrayals of the Calderon to agreements that the Movement for Peace with Justice and Dignity (MPJD) established him facing the nation, despite the betrayals also other governments fundamental agreements that could have helped avert disaster, as the San Andres Accords Larráinzar-, I keep my hope to keep open. If the victims who have lost everything and have learned to despair of our illusions, we maintain, is a sign that anything is possible, that the hearts of men, even the most insensitive, may take a day the way of justice and peace.
In this sense, I return to the MPJD agreements established in the Alcázar Chapultepec Castle when you, Mr. President, was only candidate. There, where the harsh words echoed Doña Trinidad, you promised to take the agenda that President Calderón MPJD betrayed. There, too, as a gesture that would, pledged that, to reach the presidency, promulgated and published in the early days of his term General Act Victims, against the unanimous approval of the Chambers, President Calderón vetoed.
You have reached the Presidency. On behalf of that word, I ask not only because this law to publish critical and necessary for justice, but set a date to continue facing the nation, with these Dialogues for Peace to follow up on that agenda which was postponed by agreement with you.
I remember in that dialogue, against which initially showed insensitivity to the pain and just claim of Dona Trinidad and the other victims of the governments of his party, said he had no heart. I also remember that when leaving the Alcázar, while accompanying his car, you told me twice. "Yes I have a heart", and I said: "We have not seen, show it to us."
Now is the time to show, dear President. It is time to publish the Victims Law, it is time to take the agenda of justice and peace, it is time to unite in the love of the nation and end corruption and impunity of the State, it is time to give his place of goodness over the interests and the abstractions of good, it is time to say with the poet Paul Celan, "that the stone can flourish, / that in a heart beat anxiety. / Time to it's time. "
Peace, Force and Joy (you will need them).
Also I think you have to respect the San Andrés Accords, free all Zapatista prisoners, Costco-CM demolish the Casino de la Selva, investigate the crimes of the murdered women of Juarez, bringing to Minera San Xavier del Cerro de San Pedro , release all prisoners of the APPO, impeach Ulises Ruiz, change the security strategy, compensate the victims of war and enact Calderon Victims Act.
