Eeerily quiet.....not!!!!!

DURANGO1
Well i dont know if it was just me or was everything to quiet in the hotspots? besides MTY? Juarez reporting less murders? Michoacan quiet? Tamps at peace? Durango no more narco problems/fosas? Drug/narco busts in Coahuila? Wow the government is really doing something huh?

Wrong!!! from a source in DGO who relayed what i suspected, the major papers have a gag order....regardless of who is imposing it, they are trying to cover up just in time for tourist season. For one this person is saying there are still narcos in DGO but after so much publicity the GOV?/CArtels? are trying to make it seem better. Just DGO alone last year lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in tourism. What tourism? just people that have family that go live there. From a person that worked in a bank prior to the year 2000 during the Summer break june-August, the stores reported more sales in those months than in other months combined, almost tripled. now does the government want that money back of course it does! So now a gag order is in place. Its a shame that the government will only publicize their "Victories" but not the reality. As always mexican government will turn the corner leaving the problem as is.... its no wonder we got into this problem to begin with.

P.S. regarding cartels gaining ground or losing? If you look closely not one cartel is winning Z's are still roaming holding to the spots they controlled with cdg, CDS still trying to make inroads to Juarez, Juarez keeping their turf plus their strongholds. Bl fighting Fam, its been a near stalemate. with little progress here while losing somewhere else.

For those keeping tabs of the situation in DGO i got an update on teps area, the normally bustling area of the "plaza" has become a ghost town with three to four people when there would be a good 30-40 at any given time. Businesses are not opening due to the high rates a certain cartel has been charging for "PISO". There is no tourist/consumption so most just wont open up so they dont have to pay their fees. Due to drug bust that was recent the busted cartel has resorted to stripping tombs of any metal/objec tof value. This to me is certainly the lowest they have gone. Not even the dead are resting in peace due to this cartel. No need to name names we all know which one is struggling. Oh yeah and burglaries are up quite a bit of people that actually live there. You leave a couple hours and you are cleaned out. This is truly said that this Cartel would resort to this. The Original cartel members are probably turning in their graves due to the petty thief level the current members have stooped. Its a sad day in teps and even SAntiago and other municipalities are a shell of there former self.....
