Bogotá, Colombia .- The capture of Antonio José N., aka the Emperor, was carried out at the El Dorado airport in Bogotá, Colombia, when he arrived from Mexico,; he's accused of landing planes, moving them along the Colombian-Venezuelan border, and loading them with cocaine bound for the United States and Europe.
According to the DEA, the Emperor is linked to the so-called Cartel de los Soles, dedicated to drug trafficking, and made up of members of the Venezuelan public force.
According to the deputy director of the Anti-Narcotics Police, Colonel Tito Castellano, he "is linked by the shipment of cargoes in aircraft from the department of Meta and Casanare to North and Central America."
Antonio has an international order to be extradited to the United States.
While El Clan del Golfo has declared a pistol plan against the police, and to date they have killed 11 uniformed officers.
