Chivis article on ONE TRILLION DOLLARS

@Chivis.  I was not sure I could insert images in the comment section of your excellent and interesting article (and you told me once you don't always read the comments there), so I am posting this here.

Your opening photo showing a stack of $100 bills would add up to $150,000 if there are 15 bundles (as it seems).   Doesn't really show what a Trillion Dollars is and that much money is almost impossible to comprehend.  So I put it in graphics.

A packet of one hundred $100 bills is less than 1/2" thick and contains $10,000. Fits in your pocket easily

Believe it or not, this next little pile is $1 million dollars (100 packets of $10,000). You could stuff that into a grocery bag and walk around with it

And $1 BILLION dollars... now we're really getting somewhere..

Ladies and gentlemen... I give you $1 trillion dollars...
$1,000,000,000,000 (one trillion dollars)

Notice those pallets are double stacked.
...and remember those are $100 bills.

To keep it in perspective notice out little guy in the red shirt in lower left corner.

This is amazing.

BTW no, can't do anything in comments on mainboard :(  links vids photos nada.

I really was impressed with the article, but it had only the one foto, so I went to work and added the links and photos.  I see Molly Molloy retweeted it.  I am such a huge fan of hers...
Havana posted something a little similar but it was how the money fit in a piece of luggage.

Thank you for this...

PS...when money runners get caught with money being taken back into Mexico via drive across it is never a big amt.  but looking at your 1M graphic one wonders why they don't make it worth while, most smuggling get across of anything.  at Acuna, and PN crossing into Mx I have only been stopped by US twice but even then after asking a couple Qs I was waved through, no search.  Obama had a big display of deployment a couple years back and it was then.  You know there were maybe 20 guys standing but not stopping cars pretty much just drinking coffe and shooting the breeze.  Once across then at the Mx border is easy for narcos to get anything across.

I have been stopped only one time on US side, though I don't go across very often anymore.  Kind of same as your experience.  4 or 5 guys standing around, one comes over and asked who I was and where I was going.  Told him I was citizen in US, but lived in Mexico and had probably crossed several hundred times over the years.  He said, " I've never seen you crossing".  I said, "I've never seen you guys here either".  He said go on across.

I always find these articles fascinating. Havana actually posted this a while ago.

It's almost impossible to think how 11 trillion dollars was squandered during the Bush administration and how 6 trillion was spent during the Obama administration.

and counting.......

This reminds me of a story from the Kiki Camarena murder trial, when Laurence Victor Harrison told of how it took him and other Rafael Caro Quintero associates 5 months to count a $300 million payoff for an important politician.

It was 1985, but come on, did they seriously not have a money counter?

Yeah, they must have had a lot of 20's, because big bills don't take that long to count.

all that money stacked kinda makes me dizzy...

@Chivos post, I still wonder what the usg is gonna pull outta their hat (ass) to hit up iran. They tried with the car dealer/zetas/quds force bomb plot but only the israelis seemed to believe that nonsense.. They have been trying for years to find a decent excuse and the fox war drums are still beating to the same tune.... With syria+iran they may have a way to almost legitimately say force is needed to ''curtail the rise of iran'' but without another 9/11 type disaster the american people wont be for it. NSA/CIA/DIA/DOD/DHS are probably real busy scheming as we speak for something to turn the worlds attention back to iran v u.s.

as far as the arab world goes the only military that could take a shot at iran would be turkey but america doesnt have as much of a grip on them as they would hope so its just wait n see what happens in syria or untill the alphabet agencies come up with a nice sly plan/false flag op

Chivo,

John Hamre (Defense Dept. Comptroller) "We process nearly 10 million paychecks a month. 10 million times to get things screwed up. I got my pay screwed up 6 times since I've been in the department. (Uhh) and it's really bad when you screw up your bosses pay."

* This coming from the (Chief financial officer). Fucken dirty ass Pig. There are no good leaders anymore. Just a bunch of rats, snakes and pigs ruling the world. Fuck it! Let's All Burn In Hell.

If you spent $1 million a day since JESUS was born, you would have not spent $1 trillion by now....But $700 billion! The same amount the banks got during the bailout.

Fascinating. Speaking of JESUS. He's going to teach us all a lesson when Armageddon comes. We deserve it.

* Here is the U.S. DEFICIT CLOCK WEBSITE. It is constantly moving so you can see how much the deficit continues to climb at anytime of the day.
