CDG hitmen laughing and joking about their killings
"El Humo" laughed and joked to the rest of his group of assassins, hawks and even his girlfriend, while they are standing at the official site for photographs of detainees in the Attorney General of the State (PGJE). It was as if they were celebrating their detention.
He told photographers cynically present: "We were better than Rambo", alluding to the slaughter made on March 14th at the bar "The Little Mermaid". He did not talk much, just laughed briefly. Then his face turned to be serious and concerned.
Prior to the presentation of the seven members of the Gulf Cartel (CDG) to the media, the state attorney, Gaspar Armando García Torres said the capture of Roger Gabriel Alfaro Pacheco, alias "El Humo" was a job conducted by research staff at the State Judicial Police (PJE).
"El Humo" was moving around in a Jetta, gray, with plates from the Federal District . Officers followed him to a home and put him under surveillance for a couple of days. The wait paid off on Monday, when some subjects came by. The PJE mounted an operation to arrest the occupants of the unit.
The Jetta, gray, began to circulate about the major avenues , when officers blocked their way. At the time of arrest, "El Humo" tried to make use of an AK-47, known as "goat horn", against the officers, but had little space, failing to trigger the weapon.
Along with Alfaro Pacheco, 26 years old, Miguel Ángel Chim Huit, 20, alias "Miguelito" Humberto Ramírez López, 27, and Yasaret Cano Castillo, 19, alias "Yara" were arrested. The latter is the girlfriend of "El Humo" and worked as a dancer at the bar "Ejecutivo", officials unveiled.
"Miguelito" had a firearm type 9 mm on him. Inside the Jetta they allegedly found cocaine weighing approximately 0.9 grams and 9.4 grams of crack cocaine.
Officers, along with the Mexican Army, mounted an operation in the area and noticed that three men came out of the building. One of them was carrying an AK-47.
The suspects were arrested and went by the names of Darwin Leonardo Chel Aguilar, 23, alias "El Flaco" or "El Guayo", who was carrying a gun, Martín González Carrión, 24, aka "Giraya" or "Campeche "and José Adit Poot Brito, 29, alias "Bembas".
In his statement, "El Humo" acknowledged belonging to the group "Los Zetas", but for some time to date he had gotten the clave T-89 in the Gulf Cartel.
The state agency reported that "El Humo" was head of a cell of gunmen of the Gulf Cartel (CDG) operating in Cancun and the last event in which he participated was at the bar "The Little Mermaid", and acknowledged that it was he who fired the "goat horn" against people who were there, killing seven of them.
If he admitted being part of a cartel I would think that no more detention would be necessary. Place a manta on a tree stating that this is going to be every cartel members fate. Hang him, make a video of it and distribute the video all over the web right beside the cartels videos. The only trouble would be that with all of the corruption there would be confessions that were false and innocent people hanged...can't win for losing I guess.
