Looks like it's the same individual I'm aware of, he is also known as Adrian "El Tigre" Reyes Cadena, a member of Fuerza Guerrerense that I posted about (Fuerza Guerrerense, An Emerging Cartel). He's the plaza head of Zihuatanejo and works under Alberto "El Gavilán" Bravo Barragan.

Chivis  reported a couple of weeks ago that she was trying to help the family... I hope she chimes in here on what she thinks is going on.

It seems weird that the Pueblos Libres mantas blame a guy from Zihua or the coast for his death since the thinking has been that Harry did not make it past Huetamo, but who really knows? He could have been kidnapped and taken to the coast I guess.

The only thing I would add, with regard to the last sentence quoted here, is that 10s or 100s of thousands of Mexican families feel the same way about their missing relatives. It is very sad for everyone.

Yes, every life is precious. But many Americanos have no idea what's  been going on in MX with regard to kidnappings... They *may* know about murders.

I guess it just strikes me as a bit naive to more or less expect or almost demand things that Mexicanos will never see. But of course I understand they want it very badly, and justifiably so.... But I would say the odds are against it happening, sadly, for all.

Ann wrote to me when this broke.  I told her I did not believe it to be true.
First of all the banner never says names, and in fact never says the exact name of the autodefensas group.

Secondly, autodefensas do not post banners like this, they will go before cameras and says what needs to be said.

I suspect this may be narco on narco ploy to place the blame on one group onto the other.

I also suspect, as I feared and warned, the ads recently placed, an idea I pushed for with Ann, is a double sided sword.  It ma bring info, but again it may bring people who want a story in the media and others who get their jollies giving false hope.

two weeks ago an inn keeper swore she saw harry, hungry and walking aimlessly about.  She gave him money for food.  I told Ann, although anything is possible, there would be zero reason for his release they have not even asked for ransom, even though I sent a Mexican Cell phone to a person in Mich to man a tip line.  nothing.  cjng, viagras and ct do not kidnap just to release.  As soon as they knew he was an American they would have asked for money or killed him.

what they should not be doing is giving interviews.  But Jackie listens to no one not even Ann.

I pray Ann finds answers.  She is a good person, a sweet lady and Harry is her only child.  the article is incorrect, Ann went to Mexico alone, I begged her to take someone but no one was available.  The Inn keeper is helping her and two friends of Ann in Mexico.

Mexicans are not crazy about all the attention given to this one American-French man.
but it is the group doing 99% of the work.  still Mexicans are being vocal on social networks saying the same thing you guys are

if you notice the banner says "disappearance of globetrotters"  plural as a practice not specific

Note: "Trotamundos" is correct usage when referring to a single person. It is not really plural. It is a name. "El trotamundos" would be translated as "the globetrotter".

the family and friends should stop giving interviews and drawing more media attention. they are going to get him killed. Ann shouldn't go down there alone.

thanks JL
it did not read as "un" which I always thought made it singular...
