Ambush Leaves 12 Policeman killed and 12 injured in TELOLOAPAN

TELOLOAPAN, 19 de marzo. - The government spokesman on security Guerrero, Arturo Martínez Núñez, confirmed the death of six state and four municipal police officers and 14 others injured after a clash on Acapetlahuaya-Teloloapan road in north of the entity.

The state government lamented the results of attacks on police elements and announced that it will strengthen the police action in the north and Tierra Caliente of Guerrero.

He explained that in the clash  that killed the elements of the State Preventive Police Evaristo Mosso Barragán, Raúl García Loreto, Gerardo Policarpo Estrada, Oscar Méndez Rojas, Antonio García y Andrés Ramírez García.

Municipal officials were also killed Eduardo Razo Bueno, Fernando Diego Barda, Marcelo Patrón Jiménez y Salustio Nava, and announced that the bodies were transferred to their home to be buried.



State agents injured were Francisco García Ávila, Ángel Romero, Benito Millán y Antonio Hernández, as well as 10 municipal agents were injured said, the official.

Martinez Nunez said that the incident occurred Sunday when the they were carrying out crime prevention measures, after the discovery of 10 corpses in front of the municipal slaughterhouse Teloloapan.

Two of the 14 wounded died - now at 12 dead. A few of the others are in pretty bad shape too apparently, so body count will likely go up.

at the time of the discovery there was speculation if 2 of the decapitated heads were of the missing police officers...
