Question is;Will he be safe there? There's going to be tons of C.T.'s there that might blame him for their incarcerations or 'impeding their business'.Maybe this might be 1 step closer to his release.

Mireles Transfer to Prison in Michoacán is Denied

MEXICO CITY (Proceso)

The federal government rejected the request of the former leader of the AD's in Michoacan, José Manuel Mireles, to be transferred to the Mil Cumbres prison outside Morelia Michoacán, stating he should be considered "a highly dangerous prisoner."

According to the head of the Review Board, Eduardo Guerrero Duran, the transfer of Mireles - being held in a prison in Hermosillo, Sonora - would represent "an imminent risk," because he possesses relationships, contacts and economic means that would allow him to obtain benefits in detention in Michoacán due to his "sphere of action" being located within the state.

In a letter to the judge, Guerrero presented a clinical-criminological study of the former AD leader, entitled "The Crazy Mireles," to justify the refusal of the transfer.

Within the study, some of Dr. Mireles's personality traits described are - avoidance, anxiety, difficulty with emotional relationships, egocentrism, rigidity of character, fantasizing, overestimating his intellectual capacitities and a political strategy including a desire to self-aggrandize, manifesting a social and intellectual ego in search of recognition and power.

Besides the difficulty in controlling his impulses, Guerrero described Mireles as a social activist who allegedly served as leader of the self-defense groups in the state of Michoacan and who, therefore, should be considered as a figure of great social and political import who weakens the stability and security of Michoacán.

I think that highlighted part is an admission that Dr. Mireles is a political prisoner.  The "psychological profile," if you can call it that, reads like it was written by former Virrey Castillo, who famously declared that Dr. Mireles secretly desired to rule over all of Latin America.
