11 Knights of Templar Captured While at a Spa

Reeling From the Recent Loss of their play Helmets, Even the Strongest of Knights Maybe Need A Day at the Spa?


Most recently they were in the news for the confiscation of some of their toy helmets they use to play dress-up.



11 members were detained in a resort spa and were found in possession of drugs, 2 assault rifles and more than 60 cartridges of ammunition.






MORELIA, March 8. - Agents of the Federal Police in Mexico arrested 11 alleged members of drug trafficking organization the Knights Templar in a resort of the state of Michoacan, authorities said.

The local office of the Attorney General's Office (PGR) reported that the alleged drug traffickers were arrested Wednesday in an operation in the resort "El Ejido", located in a rural area south of the city of Morelia, capital of Michoacan.

Along with the detainees, whose identity was not disclosed to avoid interference with investigations, federal agents cited 11 employees of the spa to declare to the authorities and provide evidence against the alleged members of the criminal group.

In this operation did not register any gun shots, although the PGR now explained that prisoners were holding two assault rifles and more than 60 rounds of ammunition.

The PGR reported that they seized several doses of marijuana, cocaine, four trucks detainees.



The Attorney General's Office initiated the investigation for the alleged commission of offenses against public health and offenses against the Law of Firearms and Explosives.
